Amazon Account Recovery Request After Suspected Hacking

I have an Amazon.com shopping account that I can no longer access because I believe someone named Simone has hacked it and changed my login details without my consent. Yesterday I received an email stating that the email address on my Amazon account had been changed, and today I found that I can no longer sign in. I did not request or approve any change to my email address or any other account information. I have tried to find a reliable customer service number but I do not trust the numbers I see online, so I have not been able to reach Amazon support through a channel I feel is safe. At the moment I am locked out of my account and worried that someone else may be using it without my knowledge. I request that my old email address be restored on my account so that I can access it again, and that my identity be verified using secure methods that do not rely on the new, unauthorized email. I also ask that you check whether any unauthorized orders, changes or charges have been made and cancel or refund anything that was not made by me. I expect my account to be secured, my access restored as soon as possible, and any misuse fully investigated.
