We Got Stuck On The Road With SunExpress Airlines
My wife's flight from Izmir to Frankfurt, with a connection from Frankfurt to Birmingham, dated 12/07/2023, with PNR number PDQ596, could not attend the connecting flight to Frankfurt, as the plane arrived in Izmir with a delay. No assistance was provided and an alternative flight was not offered. She stayed the night. We stayed at the hotel in Frankfurt and bought a ticket again. Since the ticket was recorded as if the passenger did not join the connecting flight voluntarily, the entire return ticket was canceled as well. We also had to buy a ticket to return to Turkey. We have expenses such as repurchased tickets, hotel reservations, etc. I request that we be compensated for these. We have also understood that we should never trust Sun Express and set off on our journey.
