SunExpress Issued Partial Refund Without Notification for Fully Paid Flight

On July 11, 2024, I purchased tickets for E*** and K**** for a flight from Izmir to Malatya on July 21, 2024. The reservation and payment were completed with my credit card, and I received a confirmation email and SMS.
However, while checking my card transactions, I noticed that the amount was partially refunded. Customer service mentioned that the likely reason was no availability on the flight, resulting in a refund. If there were no seats available, why were tickets sold in the first place? The full amount was charged for the seats, but there was no notification of the cancellation. Were we supposed to find out at the airport on July 21? Now there are no seats available on the flight!
