SunExpress App Issues and Missing Flight Records—No Resolution for 3+ Years

SunExpress continues to cause frustration with unresolved issues in its mobile app. After their 2020 app update, the system failed to record my flights for 2-3 years. Previously, 10 flights earned a free one, but now they require customers to manually register flights—a process they didn’t notify us about. I discovered this only through customer service.

Between 2023-2024, they claimed the system update was completed, but the app remains dysfunctional. I fly 10-20 times a year, yet I can’t even log in as the “customer login” button is missing. Customer service told me they can’t access my details due to a missing birthdate in their system, which is absurd since this information is always required for booking and boarding passes.

For the past 4-5 years, SunExpress has been like a car without wheels—useless. Neither the app nor customer support can resolve issues. My complaint records, including case number 09296628, highlight this ongoing problem. Especially in underserved regions, SunExpress’s lack of accountability is unacceptable. I demand immediate action and accountability to fix these problems.
