Arrived in Izmir on March 31, 2024, on a Pegasus Airlines flight from London at 22:45. Even though my carry-on bag clearly met the size requirements, the staff in London refused to allow it, claiming that the regulations had changed, despite my baggage allowance of 40 kg and 8 kg for hand luggage. My small handbag was the only thing they allowed as a carry-on, and they insisted that I pay ₺140 for my other bag. I found myself in a challenging situation and felt obligated to go along with it.
In addition, they insisted that my checked baggage was 54 kg, but when I personally checked the scale, it showed a weight of only 39 kg. I was quite surprised when they insisted on charging me ₺10 per kg for what they claimed was excess weight. When I voiced my concerns, they casually suggested that I could submit a complaint. I observed other passengers boarding with carry-on luggage and backpacks that appeared to be larger than mine.
I possess legal recordings that provide evidence of the staff's conduct, along with the receipts for the baggage fees that were incorrectly charged to me and photographs of the carry-on bag that they declined to accept. I am planning to pursue legal action against Pegasus Airlines, both internationally and domestically. They used the possibility of me missing my flight and took advantage of my vulnerable situation.

I cannot reach Sunexpress regarding my grievance; I suppose they are very confident about this matter, but there is a consequence for their bullying in the UK. I will report you to the UK international airspace law representative. You can no longer extort money from anyone through threats.
