On December 6 at 6:34 PM, I placed an order through the Getir app from the Subway branch in Ankara Yenimahalle, paying $20 online for the order. However, hours passed and my order was never delivered to my address, and I did not receive any phone call from the courier. Despite this, the Getir app showed the order as “delivered.” Neither I nor anyone at my location at that time received the delivery, and although couriers normally call upon arrival, I was not contacted at all.
When I contacted Getir customer support, they told me that because a few days had passed, there was nothing they could do, and they mentioned that they would ask the seller why I had waited three days. However, they did not provide any real solution. The reason I waited two days before contacting them was because I had traveled to another city and was also trying to reach the restaurant during that time.
As a student, $20 is a significant amount for me, and despite paying this amount, I received no service and my money was not refunded.
I request that my payment be refunded, since the order was never delivered, and that the situation be investigated to prevent customers from being harmed by incorrect “delivered” statuses or false delivery confirmations in the future.
