I am experiencing a persistent comment issue in the Pinterest Android app that has been ongoing for a long time. Even though the comment feature is enabled in the app settings, the comment section on some of my videos appears to be automatically turned off.
When I edit the video and enable comments again, the system shows that the comments have been turned on. However, when I open the video afterward, the comments are still disabled and I cannot access the comment section.
This problem has been happening since 2026 and it appears randomly on certain videos only. I have already tried several troubleshooting steps, including updating the app, clearing the cache, and uninstalling and reinstalling the application, but the issue still persists.
I request that Pinterest investigate this bug and permanently fix the problem that automatically disables comments on my videos, and ensure that comments remain enabled across all my videos.
