Storks Sold a Ready-Made Ring as a Custom Design

On February 7, 2026, I purchased a Cetaş ring from the Storks store at Fişekhane in Istanbul. I was told that this product was a custom-designed ring made specifically for me. However, I later learned that it was actually a ready-made product belonging to the Cetaş brand. Despite being told that the ring was a custom design, I was never shown any drawing, design, or visual representation of a custom-made product.

The ring size was also measured incorrectly, so the product was never delivered to me and is still being held at the store. I requested a refund on the same day, but my refund request was rejected. When I researched the product online, I found that the exact same ring was being sold for prices starting at approximately $825, and I also found the same product at a jewelry store in Kuyumcukent for approximately $908. Despite this, I was charged approximately $1,238 for the ring, and I was told that the price would increase depending on the location of the store. Later, when I called the store, they offered to ship the ring to me for an additional $31, but I did not accept this offer.

I was later contacted by Storks Headquarters and was told that the issue would be resolved. However, despite the passage of time, no solution has been provided. The store also stated that they did not accept responsibility for the ring and made comments implying that the ring could potentially be lost while it remained at the store, which caused me further concern and anxiety. Similar threatening and responsibility-denying statements are also clearly documented in our WhatsApp correspondence.

Since the product was never delivered to me, I was given misleading information about the nature of the product, and I was charged an excessive price compared with equivalent products available elsewhere, I request that this approximately $1,238 purchase be canceled and that the full amount I paid for the ring be refunded.

I also request that this matter be taken seriously and that the necessary measures be implemented to prevent other customers from experiencing similar problems.
