I Face SteelSeries Aerox 5 Warranty Problems When Vatan Demands Extra Payment

On July 21, 2024, I purchased a SteelSeries Aerox 5 Diablo IV Edition limited wireless mouse from Vatan Computer. While the product was still under warranty, it malfunctioned on June 22, 2026, so I submitted it to the service center.

After the service process, I was informed that the exact model I purchased was no longer available in their inventory, and that they would refund the $44 I originally paid two years ago. However, instead of receiving a refund, I requested a replacement with the currently available SteelSeries Aerox 5 model. In response, I was told that I could receive this product by paying an additional $38 difference. In other words, they wanted to charge me for a replacement of a defective warranty product simply because the available model had a different color.

Even though I stated that I did not accept this unfair offer, I was then told that I would need to pay an additional $75 instead. I do not accept being repeatedly asked to pay extra fees for a product that is still under warranty, especially when an equivalent replacement product is available in their inventory.

I request that my product be replaced with the SteelSeries Aerox 5 model under my warranty rights without requiring any additional payment. I expect this issue to be resolved quickly and the process to be handled with a customer-focused approach.
