SteelSeries Aerox 5 Wireless Mouse Malfunctions Just After Warranty
I purchased a SteelSeries Aerox 5 wireless mouse on July 1, 2022. Just two months after the warranty expired, the cursor stopped moving. I contacted the authorized service, requesting a paid repair. Initially, they refused to assist without an invoice, so I searched through my records to locate the two-year-old receipt. Once I provided it, they quoted a replacement fee of 4,300₺, despite the fact that I can buy a brand new one for around 3,400₺ on e-commerce platforms.
The service doesn’t offer any part replacement or repairs, effectively leaving the product as waste. If there’s no spare part support or repair service, I don’t understand the purpose of being an "authorized service." This experience has been frustrating, and I won’t be purchasing from this brand again.
