Steam Charged Me Twice for the Same Game Purchase
On June 17, 2026, at approximately 2:58 PM, I noticed that my Steam account was charged a second time for the game "RV There Yet?" in the amount of $1.49. I had already purchased this game on Sunday and completed the payment successfully at that time, so only a single charge should have been applied to my account.
After reviewing my payment history, it appears that the same game was charged twice. I did not authorize a second purchase, nor did I intentionally buy the game again. As far as I can tell, this is a duplicate transaction for the exact same product.

I request that Steam investigate this duplicate charge and refund the additional $1.49 that was withdrawn from my payment method. Since the game was already purchased previously, the second transaction appears to be unnecessary and unauthorized. I would appreciate a prompt review of the transaction history and confirmation once the duplicate payment has been reversed.
I also request clarification regarding why the second charge occurred to help prevent similar issues in the future.
