Southwind Airlines Asked to Investigate Alleged Luggage Tampering

January 19 4:46 PM17

I flew from Moscow to Antalya with Southwind Airlines on January 18, 2026. After arriving home and opening my suitcase, I realized that three electronic cigarettes I had purchased from a shop in Moscow and placed inside my luggage were missing. I believe that my suitcase was opened during the flight and that these items were taken from inside. Each electronic cigarette had an approximate value of $35, resulting in a total loss of $104. Because I purchased the items abroad at a store in Moscow, I do not have an invoice or payment receipt. Up to this point, I have not submitted any formal claim to Southwind Airlines. I am requesting that this incident be investigated, that it be determined how my suitcase was opened, and that my financial loss of $104 be compensated.
