Southwind Airlines Failed to Deliver Two Bags After International Delay

I experienced a serious hardship on my Jeddah–Izmir flight with Southwind Airlines on January 15, 2026. My flight was delayed by approximately five hours, and I was stranded at the airport from 1:00 AM until 7:00 AM without receiving any adequate information or support during this time. As I was returning from Umrah, I was carrying items with very high emotional value for me. Despite this, the airline left two of my suitcases behind at Jeddah Airport, and I arrived in Izmir without them. After landing at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, I was forced to wait an additional two hours for these two suitcases, but I was unable to receive them and am still waiting for any information regarding their whereabouts. Because I spent the entire night at the airport and experienced significant stress and uncertainty during and after the delay, I was severely affected psychologically and became ill. I am currently undergoing medical treatment and have incurred additional financial burden due to hospital visits and treatment expenses. I am requesting that Southwind Airlines ensure my lost suitcases are located and delivered within no later than three days, that the emotional significance of the items in my Umrah luggage be taken into consideration, and that financial support of $460 be provided due to the delay, the loss of my baggage, and the overall hardship I experienced. I also request that all medical and treatment expenses I have incurred and may incur as a result of this situation be covered.
