Sociable Dating App Refuses to Fully Refund My $26 Subscription
On June 22, 2026, I purchased a weekly subscription to the paid dating and chat app Sociable (Sociable Live Broadcast Chat). I paid $26 using my credit card, and the email address registered to my account is k*************@gmail.com.
The features promised by the app are absolutely not being provided. Instead of interacting with real users, I receive messages from the app's own bot accounts, and it is incredibly obvious that these messages are only sent to trick people into buying a membership. Even after purchasing the subscription, the service is nothing like what was promised.
I reported this issue to the support team both via email and through the in-app help section. However, even though I requested a full refund for the amount I paid, they told me they could only refund half of it. Because the service wasn't delivered as advertised and users are actively being manipulated by bot accounts, I believe this is a clear case of deceiving the consumer.
I demand that this subscription be canceled and that the entire $26 charged to my credit card be fully refunded to me immediately.
