CapCut Charged Me $23 Even Though I Canceled the Free Trial the Same Day

On January 16, 2026, I started a 7-day free trial in the CapCut app. Because the trial period appeared to end on the same day, I canceled the subscription on January 16, 2026 through the Apple App Store. Despite this, I noticed that $23 was charged the same day to my Ziraat Bank debit card ending in 7128.
I find it extremely unfair and harmful that both the standard and Pro subscriptions appeared active at the same time in the CapCut app, that this charge was made despite the 7-day free trial, and that when I submitted a refund request through the Apple App Store, I received a message stating “Refund not eligible.” Being charged as if the subscription had renewed, even though I canceled during the trial period, clearly indicates a system error or misuse from the user’s perspective.
For this reason, I demand that the full $23 charged to my Ziraat Bank card be refunded to me, and, if necessary, that this subscription be completely canceled and all paid memberships associated with my account be terminated.
