Skechers Shoes Wore Out in 7 Months and They Refused My Repair Request

The Skechers shoes I bought back in March have truly let me down. After just seven months, they’ve started falling apart—the toe part on one shoe has opened up, the front stitch on the other is coming loose, and there’s even a crack in the leather on the front. I paid ₺3000, expecting a quality pair of shoes that would last, but now it feels like I threw my money away. When I reached out to Skechers for help, I received an SMS response stating that no manufacturing defect was found in my shoes, so they wouldn’t be able to assist me. With request number 1-401026, I genuinely hoped for a solution, but instead, I was left feeling ignored.
The shoe repair master at the Shoe Shine Salon said that this Skechers shoe is not leather but plastic and that it cannot be stitched. My 3000 TL went to waste; instead, I will use cool teks product brands.
I took my Skechers shoes to the repair shop, had a leather piece put inside and stitched, but when my feet sweated, it stained my toes completely black. I gave up and threw them in the trash. My 3000 TL went to waste.
