On November 12, 2023, I bought a pair of Skechers Arch Fit Discover (model 180081) for my child. After only four months of wear, I noticed that the fabric on both heels began to tear and deform. After contacting the store where I bought the shoes, they were sent to Skechers for inspection. To my dismay, they claimed the damage was due to "washing," and thus the warranty was void. This strikes me as a flagrant disregard for customer rights.
I'd like to clarify that these brand-new shoes have not been washed and are advertised as water-resistant. In fact, they've never come into contact with water. Skechers has refused to accept responsibility for their product, blaming the problem on a fabricated user error while leaving my concerns unaddressed.
