Siemens EQ500 Coffee Machine Dispenses Cold Milk and Overflows Cups

I purchased the Siemens EQ500 automatic coffee machine on December 1, 2024. The product was delivered and installed on December 3, 2024. However, issues started appearing as early as December 4. First, the machine dispenses milk-based coffees lukewarm, almost cold. Second, if there is less than 500 ml of milk in the carton, even when selecting a 200 ml milk-based coffee, the machine draws less milk, blows air into the cup, and splashes milk everywhere. For instance, instead of drawing 170-180 ml for a latte, it only takes a maximum of 120 ml. The same problem occurs with water-based coffees. Third, regardless of the selected coffee strength, the coffee comes out excessively bitter. Fourth, when placing the milk tube in a 1-liter milk carton and selecting a 200 ml latte, the coffee overflows from a standard 200 ml glass, spilling coffee everywhere. These issues have persisted since the second day of use. As of today, December 7, 2024, the machine is only five days old. Despite these problems, Konya Novaland AVM Siemens dealer and customer service refuse to approve a return or exchange without a service inspection. They are unwilling to offer a replacement or refund for this defective product, only suggesting repair. If you are considering purchasing a coffee machine, spend a few thousand ₺ more and look for a different brand to avoid wasting your money.
