I have a serious problem with my Shortmax subscription that I have been trying to cancel repeatedly since around Thursday of last week, and despite following all the steps correctly, the subscription is still not cancelled, and I keep being charged $9.99 per week from my debit card. I initially believed this was a monthly subscription, but I later realized it is actually a weekly plan, which makes the ongoing, unwanted charges even more frustrating. I have tried to cancel my Shortmax subscription at least five times in total, including four times in a single day. Each time, I follow all of the instructions on the platform exactly as they are shown. My photo and my name disappear from the account, so it looks like the cancellation or deactivation has worked, but my profile is still not fully deactivated. Instead of my picture and name, there is a user ID number that remains active, and the account still appears to be attached to that ID. Because of this, I cannot completely delete or cancel the subscription, and the charges continue. I have not been able to find any reliable customer service phone number for Shortmax, so I have had no direct support in resolving this issue. I am very unhappy that, even though I have clearly tried multiple times to cancel, Shortmax continues to take $9.99 every week from my debit card. I request that my Shortmax subscription be fully and permanently cancelled without any further delay, and that I be refunded for all weekly $9.99 charges taken since the date I first started trying to cancel last week. I also expect written confirmation that my account has been completely deactivated and that no further payments will be taken from my debit card.
