ShortMax Keeps Trying to Charge My Card Every Day and Won’t Let Me Cancel
I currently have a weekly subscription with ShortMax that costs approximately $12 per week. For nearly two months, the platform has been attempting to charge my card almost every day, and on some occasions, multiple times in the same day. Fortunately, my bank has declined these transactions so far, and no successful payment has been collected. However, the system continues to make repeated billing attempts without stopping.
I have tried numerous times to cancel the subscription both through the application itself and through the Google Play Store. Despite these efforts, I have been unable to find a working cancellation option. I have also searched the app and the company's website for customer support information, but I cannot find a phone number, support representative, or any reliable communication channel that would allow me to resolve the issue directly.
This situation is causing serious concern from both a financial and security standpoint. The constant payment attempts create ongoing anxiety that an unauthorized charge could be processed at any time. As a customer, I should have a clear and accessible way to cancel my subscription and prevent further billing attempts.
I request that ShortMax immediately cancel my subscription, permanently remove all of my stored payment and card information from its systems, and stop all future payment attempts. I also ask for a clear written explanation confirming that the subscription has been terminated, my payment information has been deleted, and no additional charges or billing attempts will occur in the future.
