ShortMax Double Charged Trial and Subscription Without Clear Cancellation

I subscribed to the “Shortmax Innovations Short Dramas” service through their app, and I was supposed to have a trial period. However, I was double charged for this first trial. On 04/19/2026 and again on 04/26/2026, my credit card was charged $12.79 each time, for a total of $25.58 just for the trial. Later, although I tried to cancel, I was again charged twice for the weekly subscription, $19.99 on 05/24/2026 and $19.99 again on 05/27/2026. In total, I was charged multiple times in a way I did not authorize or expect. When I attempted to cancel the subscription through the app, I was informed that I needed to cancel via my Google Play Store account. However, when I checked Google Play, there was no active subscription from Shortmax Innovations listed, so I had no way to cancel it from there. There is also no clear way to contact Shortmax Innovations directly through the app or via other visible support channels, so I was unable to inform them or stop the charges at that time. I only discovered these unauthorized charges today when I checked my credit card statement in detail. I request that the double and unauthorized charges be refunded, at least partially if a full refund is not possible, and that my subscription be fully cancelled so that no further payments are taken from my card. I also ask for written confirmation that my subscription has been terminated and that no additional charges will be made in the future.
