I Face Unclear Customs Fee Policy on Shein Dress Order
On August 10, 2025, I placed an order on Shein for a dress to be delivered to Bitlis. My invoice clearly lists the product price and a ₺333 customs fee as separate charges. However, there was no information anywhere in the ordering process—either during checkout or payment—about whether I might be charged any additional fees upon delivery.
This lack of transparency has caused concern, as customers should not have to wonder if extra charges will appear unexpectedly. I believe Shein should provide a clear and detailed explanation regarding customs duties and any potential extra fees before purchase. This would ensure a more secure shopping experience and prevent unpleasant surprises at delivery.
I request that Shein clarify its customs and additional fee policy for my order and for all future customers, and confirm that I will not be charged beyond the stated ₺333 customs fee.
The cargo arrived faster than the estimated time. There were no additional charges. Once it arrived in Turkey, it was handed over to Aras Kargo. My experience was very good, you can order without worry. Just pay attention to the reviews when ordering; I didn't and ended up buying a large size, so I gave it as a gift to someone else.
