Sephora Failed to Refund My Debit Card After Canceling My Online Order

On April 6, 2025, I placed an order on Sephora’s website and chose to pick it up from the Emaar store. When I went to collect it on April 9, the store staff informed me that the product was damaged and said my order would be canceled. They offered me a larger size available in-store, which I purchased separately.

While my online order was canceled, the amount I paid online was never refunded. Sephora claimed no payment was taken because it was a debit card transaction, but my payment was processed without authorization, and I provided my receipt as proof.

Despite multiple calls and emails, I keep receiving the same scripted response: "Your refund will be processed within 3-7 business days." Yet no action has been taken.

My order number is 8004194879. I demand an immediate refund of the amount that was wrongly withheld. Sephora must address this ongoing negligence and ensure proper service to its customers.
