I called the Doğuş Seat Ankara (Turkey) dealership about the marks on the hood of my brand new Leon model that became visible when the sun hit it. When I explained the situation to the sales assistant, I was told that the car had been waxed to return it clean. I was asked to come back to the dealership in Ankara from my city to cover the damage caused by this process. The truth is, they had tried to cover the burnished paint with wax. The waxing was so careless that it didn't cover it and created new marks. After two or three phone calls, they lied that they hadn't waxed the car and that it had been delivered without any defects. They claimed the fault was my fault and that there was no service record for waxing on the car.
