Samsung TV Promotion Left Me Shortchanged on Promised Ininal Card Funds
In August 2024, we purchased a television from Mediamarkt through a Samsung TV campaign, which included a promotion offering two Ininal cards with ₺7000 each as part of the deal. After completing several required steps, we were told we would receive a message once the funds were loaded onto the cards. By late October, having received no notification, we called customer service and were asked again to provide the invoice, installation receipts, and other documents, which we submitted multiple times. Each time, a different representative would call asking for the same documents over and over. Finally, we were informed that the funds would be deposited, but then we encountered issues with the Ininal cards themselves, needing to get them approved and limits adjusted. Despite repeated communication with Ininal’s customer service and the hassle involved, we managed to complete the required steps. Today, Samsung finally loaded funds onto the cards, but instead of the promised ₺14,000, we received only ₺8250 without any explanation. When we inquired, we were simply told that this was the amount. It feels like Samsung and Ininal have collaborated in what seems to be a case of misleading advertising. Based on what I’ve seen on social media, others are experiencing the same issues. It is disappointing that a brand like Samsung would resort to these tactics, offering promotions that aren’t delivered as promised. I am considering taking this issue to court but also wanted to warn others about this experience so they can think carefully before purchasing from this company.
