Samsung QE50Q60TAUXXH TV Fails After 2.5 Years, Repair Costs ₺18,000
The Samsung QE50Q60TAUXXH model TV that I bought 2.5 years ago unexpectedly shut down on its own, then powered back up, remained on for approximately 10 seconds, and shut down again. This pattern continued to occur. I encountered an issue with the remote control, which rendered it unresponsive. As a result, I had to resort to unplugging the TV to turn it off. I submitted a service request for the problem. It seems like they have a lot on their plate because they didn't even bother to come and see the TV. Instead, they reached out and inquired about any visuals about the matter. I shared a brief video with them, and their response indicated that there was a problem with the panel. They provided a repair quote of ₺18,000. The TV is currently valued at around ₺22,000-23,000. Charging ₺18,000 for a single repair is completely unreasonable on Samsung. In addition, the TV we purchased, relying on the reputation and quality of the Samsung brand, failed to survive for even three years. Based on my observations on different websites, it appears that the problem I'm facing is quite widespread. Unfortunately, Samsung was unable to resolve my complaint as they did not have the necessary part (screen panel) in stock. Upon reviewing the website and other complaints, it became apparent that they had resolved cases submitted after mine, indicating their ability to provide the necessary part. Why aren't they fixing my device? What is their motive behind this? This level of apathy is not tolerable. I have decided to stop buying Samsung devices and will actively discourage others from doing the same by sharing my personal experience and showing them the complaint I have filed.
