Hello, in December 2023, I purchased a Samsung The Frame model TV from the Samsung store at Antalya/Markantalya Mall. At the time of purchase, there was a cashback promotion through a payment card application, and I was told that I could benefit from it if I had the TV installed immediately. I agreed and had the installation done. However, after installation, there were streak-like marks on the TV screen. The technician who performed the installation advised me to clean it with a special TV cleaning kit, assuring me that the marks would disappear. Later, due to my upcoming wedding, I had the TV boxed again and had it reinstalled by Samsung technical service at my new home, close to the wedding date, about 1.5 months later. Despite multiple attempts by both the technician and Samsung service representatives, the streaks remained. Now, Samsung is demanding ₺15,000 from me for a screen replacement, citing it as a consumer error, even though the product was unused and within warranty. I fail to understand how I am being charged for a defect in an unused product under warranty. Furthermore, I am puzzled as to how a brand-new device could have such marks. Sending a display unit or a used product does not seem to be an issue, but when we request a replacement, you conveniently label it as a consumer error. If we cannot trust a reputable company like Samsung, then which brand can we trust? If this issue is not resolved, I will escalate my complaint to the appropriate authorities and will not let this matter go. People do not earn these amounts of money easily.
