I Paid for My Samsung Dryer, But It Stopped Working Twice and Still Wasn’t Repaired

I’m beyond frustrated with the Samsung dryer I purchased at the end of 2021. It first broke down in 2023, and despite filing a complaint back then, no real solution was ever offered. Now, as of late May 2025, the dryer has completely stopped functioning—it no longer dries clothes at all. I submitted another support request in June and was contacted by the Çorlu Samsung service team shortly afterward.

The technician said he remembered both my home and the machine and casually informed me that the issue could be resolved with a ₺10,000–₺12,000 part replacement. When I asked why this wasn’t mentioned during the same issue two years ago, he said he’d check with his supervisor and get back to me. Instead of a follow-up call, I just received a generic “service completed” notice.

This is not acceptable. The fact that I’ve faced the same recurring issue twice in under four years, with zero resolution, points to a clear manufacturing flaw. I believe my consumer rights have been completely ignored, and I now feel financially and emotionally taken advantage of. I demand that Samsung acknowledge this defect and offer a fair resolution, such as a replacement or full repair without passing on outrageous costs to me.
