I purchased my BYD Atto 3 Design model vehicle brand new approximately 4–5 months ago from the Maltepe BYD authorized dealer. I usually park the vehicle in the open parking area within our residential complex. When I purchased the car, I chose it with the expectation of a full-battery driving range of around 420 km, but I have experienced performance that is far below this expectation.
Since the very first day I bought the vehicle, the battery has been discharging on its own while parked, and I am losing approximately 4 kWh of charge per day. Because of this issue, even with a fully charged battery, my driving range has dropped to around 150 km. I find this level of performance and range loss completely unacceptable in a new, zero-mile vehicle, and I do not even feel confident enough to take the car on an out-of-town trip.
Regarding this issue, I contacted the dealership by phone, and some remote adjustments were made. However, these actions did not resolve the problem in any way. My vehicle continues to discharge abnormally and suffers from severe range loss. Even though the car is still under warranty, I cannot use it efficiently as long as this issue remains unresolved.
I request that the abnormal battery discharge and range loss be clearly diagnosed and permanently fixed. If necessary, I want my vehicle to be taken to an authorized service center for a detailed inspection, where the battery and related systems are thoroughly checked and a lasting repair is performed. I expect this issue to be resolved as quickly as possible under warranty, without causing any further inconvenience or hardship to me as a customer.
