My Salomon SUPERCROSS 4 GTX Shoes Fell Apart in 4 Months
I purchased a pair of Salomon SUPERCROSS 4 GTX shoes on December 18, 2024, and in less than four months, they’ve already started to fall apart. The right shoe has opened up around the ankle, there’s a tear on the inner side of the left shoe, and the left shoelace was defective from the start.
These aren’t minor cosmetic issues—the stitching on the upper part has come loose, and it’s clearly a structural failure, even though it hasn’t yet torn all the way down to the sole.
I sent the shoes in for warranty inspection, expecting a replacement or repair. But I was told that the damage is not due to a manufacturing defect, and my request was rejected.
It’s baffling. I own another pair of athletic shoes from a different brand that still look brand new after three years, yet my ₺ worth Salomon shoes look destroyed after less than 4 months—and they weren’t even worn daily.
