Ryanair System Error Blocks Online Check-In and Charges €275 at Airport

On January 11, 2026, I traveled with my family (5 people total) from Dalaman to Bratislava on Ryanair flight FR7144. Starting from December 10, we repeatedly attempted to complete online check-in at various times, but the system would not allow it. The system incorrectly requested a visa for our special green passports and prevented us from completing the process; when we retried, it would repeatedly log us out.
Since we were unable to complete online check-in, we had to check in at the airport, where we were charged €55 per person—€275 total for five people—which we had no choice but to pay. There was no Ryanair representative or office available at the airport to address our issue. We also observed that dozens of other passengers on the same flight experienced similar problems.
Due to this system-related error that prevented us from completing online check-in, I request a full refund of the €275 we were forced to pay at the airport.
