Roborock S7 Smart Vacuum Battery Drains Quickly

I purchased the Roborock S7 vacuum cleaner mop smart robot vacuum on January 7, 2023, as the latest model from the best brand to avoid any issues. Initially, it cleaned 70 m² with high vacuum and mopping, leaving 21% battery remaining.

Later, I learned that it should clean 130-150 m² on a single charge. When I first got the robot, it only cleaned 70 m². Four months after purchase, it started running out of battery before finishing the cleaning. I sent it to service on December 6, 2023. They informed me that there was no issue with the robot. However, the robot began to stop before finishing the last room, then two rooms, and finally, the battery would drop from 44% to 19% suddenly, and it would stop on the way back to the charging dock with 1% battery.

Due to issues like the red light blinking when placed on charge and the robot coming off the dock while charging, I sent it back to the service on July 21, 2024, requesting a replacement or refund. The service stated in their report that they replaced the battery. However, the problem persists. The robot returns to the dock before finishing cleaning. While my friends' robots clean 150 m² easily, mine can't even clean 70 m².

Based on my research, I found out that the robot's battery is old, and these issues will continue to worsen. I am tired of dealing with the service and urgently request a replacement with a new unit. Despite sending it to service on July 21, 2024, the issue remains. The robot no longer vacuums and cleans as well as it did initially. When I first got the robot, the battery drained quickly but it could clean 50 m² and return to the charging station before running out of battery.

Later, the battery started dropping from 44% to 19% instantly and would stop on the way to the charging station. The last time I sent it to service on July 21, 2024, they claimed to have replaced the battery, but the same issues persist.

We bought the latest model to avoid any problems, but we are tired of taking it to service. We urgently request a replacement with a new unit.
