Roborock Q Revo needs frequent base cleaning—how can I reduce maintenance?

To clean your Roborock Q-Revo frequently, first check the air duct in the auto-empty dock for blockages caused by pet hair and dust, which can impair suction.

Gently unscrew and remove debris from the duct, ensuring that the disposable bag is firmly inserted and that the main brush cover is correctly attached, with all tabs hidden within its slots.

To avoid alignment shifts, do not move or tilt the dock during daily use; it should sit on a flat, hard surface with clearance around it and no soft mat beneath.

Wipe the charging contacts and sensors under the robot and dock with a dry cloth or eraser to remove any dust or residue that may interfere with docking accuracy.

Even if the system appears to be functional, empty and replace the dust bag on a regular basis, and clean filters and brushes weekly to prevent particle buildup that can overload the base station.

If the maintenance instructions do not work, remap your area in the app from the dock location or conduct a factory reset to fix mapping or docking problems.

These are key methods that we can offer. If you have more, please share.
