Outlook 2FA Issues Block Riot Games Login

Whenever I try to log in to my Outlook account—especially from internet cafés—I encounter arbitrary restrictions, even though I enter my password completely correctly. Being blocked on every valid login attempt causes a serious waste of time and prevents me from using my account.

Because my account has two-factor authentication enabled, I need to receive a verification code via email in order to log in to my Riot Games account. However, due to Outlook’s unnecessary restriction, I cannot access my game account either. Since I am already entering the correct password, I would expect the security verification to be sent via SMS to my phone or through an Authenticator app instead of email, or at least for such an alternative to be offered.

For nearly the past month, this issue has been happening regularly, and I am forced to change my password almost every 3–5 days. These overly frequent and strict restrictions, supposedly for security reasons, are preventing me from using my account rather than protecting it. I request that Outlook remove this unnecessary restriction or adjust the security verification process so that it can be completed via phone or an Authenticator app.
