I Overpaid for Revlon Hair Styler at MediaMarkt Due to Temporary Price Hike
I bought a Revlon hair styler from MediaMarkt 16 days ago, during a time when the price had suddenly increased. Today, when I checked the same product again, I noticed that the price had dropped back to its original amount—without any discount being applied. It’s now being sold at the exact same rate it was before the increase.
This feels like a pricing manipulation tactic. The product was briefly marked up, then reset to its normal price, making it appear as if no price change ever occurred. In effect, everyone who purchased during that brief window—including me—paid around ₺700 more for no added value. This is misleading and unfair.
I demand a partial refund or store credit to make up for the overpayment. MediaMarkt should be transparent about such pricing practices and ensure that customers aren't penalized for bad timing. I expect this to be addressed urgently.
