In May 2024, we purchased a brand-new Renault Austral Mild Hybrid Techno Esprit Alpine, expecting quality and reliability. However, the car has been to the service center three times due to factory defects.
In July, while driving, a strong gasoline odor filled the car, so intense that it was unbearable even with the windows open. The issue was deemed a manufacturing defect and was temporarily fixed. Unfortunately, the same problem recurred in September, and the vehicle was sent to the service center again. Although the odor hasn’t returned yet, it feels like only a matter of time.
Now, the massage seats have also stopped functioning due to another factory defect. We requested a replacement vehicle from Renault, but they keep changing their stance and providing no definitive solution. I demand Renault honor our request for a replacement and resolve these issues properly. Temporary fixes are not acceptable for a brand-new vehicle.
