Dear Sir/Madam, On January 6, 2024, my brand-new Renault Austral, purchased on November 2, 2023, experienced a critical breakdown at a mere 2800 km. Shockingly, the brake failed to engage, and warning indicators for brake, engine, ABS, and more flashed. Fortunately, due to my cautious speed, I was able to manually engage the electronic handbrake to halt the vehicle. Had I been driving faster, I might not be writing this now. When I contacted the dealership, I was instructed to visit the nearest service center. On January 8, 2024, I brought the car to the authorized service center. On January 9, 2024, I received a message stating that the brake air reservoir needed replacement, but they lacked the part. Upon calling, the authorized person mentioned that the part was ordered from France, taking a month to arrive, and assured them they would provide a replacement vehicle in the meantime. Can you guarantee that a similar incident won't recur, ensuring my safety? I highly doubt it! According to consumer rights, any defect within the first 6 months is considered a flaw from the delivery date. I demand a replacement for my vehicle or a refund, urging the swift resolution of this major issue before it escalates further.
