I transferred money to my brother via Remitly, but it has now been two full days and the funds still haven’t reached his account. Despite this, Remitly’s system shows the transfer as “completed” and the money as “delivered.” That is simply not true. We spoke directly with the recipient’s bank, and they clearly confirmed that no money has been received.
We’ve contacted both Remitly customer support and the bank multiple times, but no one has resolved the issue or even explained what happened to the funds. There’s been no clarity, no compensation, and no accountability—meanwhile, the money is missing, and we’ve been left in a highly stressful and financially damaging situation.
This kind of failure is unacceptable from a service built on trust and financial security. I demand an immediate and transparent explanation of where my money is and expect Remitly to resolve this without further delay. If this issue is not addressed immediately, I will take legal action. I have all relevant records, receipts, and communication logs ready to support my case.
