Remitly Sent My Transfer with the Wrong Surname and Still Shows It as Delivered
I used the Remitly app to send money, and when I checked the details, I saw that my surname had been entered incorrectly—something I did not input wrong. Despite this error, the transaction status shows the money as “delivered,” but the recipient hasn’t received anything.
I’ve contacted support, but all they do is stall and delay with no real answers or resolution. This is a critical issue that needs urgent attention. I am the one being financially impacted, and no one is taking accountability. If this issue isn’t resolved by tomorrow, I will take legal action without hesitation. My lawyer is already waiting for my go-ahead.
Remitly, you must correct this mistake immediately and either deliver the money properly or issue a full refund. Stop wasting time and start supporting your customers before more people get hurt by these errors.
