For the past several months, I have been unable to create a Reddit account due to recurring errors. Every time I try to sign up, the process fails in different ways:
When I register with my phone number, I receive error messages such as: “we had some trouble getting to Reddit” or “incorrect verification code.”
When I attempt to register with my email address, either the process fails completely or the account is immediately banned right after creation.
This has been going on for a long time, and I have not been able to successfully join the platform. It is extremely frustrating that a community-focused site like Reddit makes account creation so complicated and unreliable.
I am requesting that Reddit fix the registration system so that users can sign up without constant errors or unfair automatic bans. Everyone should be able to create an account smoothly, whether through phone number or email.
