My Realme GT2 Pro developed the infamous green line screen issue, which is a known chronic problem that surfaces after Realme software updates. Despite this being widely reported by users globally, the company refuses to take responsibility—especially in Turkey.
After researching online, I found that Realme has offered free screen replacements for this issue in many other countries, even when the device is out of warranty. However, when it comes to Turkey, Realme is completely ignoring the problem. I visited the authorized KVK service center in Bakırköy, and since my warranty had expired, they told me the only option was a paid screen replacement for nearly ₺13,000. That’s outrageous, especially for a well-documented manufacturer defect.
Realme’s refusal to stand behind their product in Turkey is unacceptable. I will be taking this issue to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and will do everything I can to raise awareness. I deeply regret trusting this brand, and I will discourage everyone around me from purchasing any Oppo Realme products moving forward.
Realme must offer the same global support for Turkish customers and cover screen replacements caused by their faulty updates. It's time this brand takes accountability.
