Realme GT2 Pro Screen Shows Green Line - I Want a Replacement, Not a Repair

I purchased a Realme GT2 Pro device from Teknosa on April 3, 2023. About five months ago, a thin vertical green line appeared on the phone screen, stretching from top to bottom on its own. I never dropped the phone and always used it with a case. The reason I am writing this complaint is that around the same time, I also recommended this phone to a friend, and the same issue recently occurred on his phone as well. We went to the Bakırköy KVK Technical Service together, where they told us that the problem was chronic, the screen needed to be replaced, and a part would be ordered. However, there is a major issue here: if the phone has a known chronic problem, why did you sell us a defective product? Even if the part is replaced, there is still a risk that the same issue will reoccur in the future, especially since there is only one month left on the warranty. For this reason, I do not accept a part replacement due to the product being defective. I request that the phone be replaced with a higher model without any issues, otherwise, I will take the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board. I expect the brand to respond to my email within a week regarding this issue.

Hello everyone, One day before my warranty expired, I called Mr. Yusuf from Realme customer service. They did not fulfill any of their promises; neither was the chronically faulty screen replaced, nor was a refund issued. Absolutely do not buy this brand, do not trust their customer service. They say they will call, but it’s all lies. When I asked what I should do since my warranty was about to expire, they said not to worry, that my file had already been opened. But when I sent the phone, KVK told me my warranty had expired and charged me for the screen replacement. Meanwhile, I had requested a refund, which was approved at first, but then I was called the next day and told it was not approved. They made me buy a brand new phone but did not give me a refund. I will file a lawsuit against them next week to seek my rights before the law. I had recorded all our conversations and I will show these people what it means to scam someone.

I was informed about the issue today and told that the process for a refund has been initiated. I will share the outcome here once the process is complete; I hope it will be resolved as soon as possible.

Realme has not kept any of its promises. Neither a refund nor a repair of the phone was done. They keep saying it is being reviewed and have been stalling me for 3 months. I will go to the Consumer Court.

The Consumer Court has been applied for this brand, now they even answer the phones. Do not buy a phone from this brand.
