Is Qatar Airways Ignoring Disabled Passengers? Lost Wheelchair & Uncaring Response!

After eight months of losing my wheelchair's left footrest during a flight from Ankara to Thailand with a layover in Doha, I was surprised to receive a request for a $50 payment. At first, they suggested buying a new one and sending us the bill. When we visited the Otto Bock company in Bangkok, they told us they didn't have the part and the wheelchair model was no longer in production. As a result, we ended up purchasing a comparable model approximately one month later. Given the difficult situation and emotional toll, it's unacceptable that they would only offer me $50 and anticipate me to agree to it. In addition to financial compensation, I will seek legal action for emotional harm and follow it to completion. Whether it's in international courts or any other necessary location, I will stand up for my rights. This has become a matter of principle for me. I advise avoiding Qatar Airways for your travels and looking into baggage-related issues.
