Prezi Made an Unauthorized High-Value Charge to My Credit Card
I am writing to report a serious billing issue involving the Prezi application.
I attempted several times to purchase an affordable Premium plan through the app for approximately ₺34–₺45. However, none of these purchase attempts appeared to go through, and I was unable to use the application or access any Premium features.
Despite this, at approximately 12:04 a.m. on April 25, 2026, I discovered that ₺2,671.18 had been charged to my credit card. The transaction description shows “charge.prezi.com San Francisc.” An additional ₺5.34 was also charged as a foreign exchange transaction tax.
I never approved a package costing this amount. The plan I intended to purchase was significantly cheaper, and I did not knowingly authorize this high-value transaction. I was also unable to actively use the service after the charge.
I had previously started a trial period with Prezi, but no subscription appeared to have been created and no payment was charged at that time. When I now log in to my account, I cannot clearly identify which subscription or plan is active. I also cannot find the subscription management section, so I have been unable to cancel any possible active subscription.
The email address registered to my Prezi account is g*********@gmail.com**, and the last four digits of the card charged are 5631.
I respectfully request that this unauthorized charge be canceled and that the full ₺2,671.18, together with the related ₺5.34 foreign exchange tax, be refunded to my original payment method.
I also request that any active Prezi subscription or automatic renewal connected to my account be canceled immediately so that no further charges are made.
Please provide written confirmation once the subscription has been canceled and the full refund has been processed. If this issue is not resolved, I will exercise my legal rights through my bank and the relevant consumer protection authorities.
