On October 15, 2025, at around 5:30 PM, my Poco X3 Pro suddenly exploded while it was lying on my bed in the bedroom. At the time of the incident, the phone was not charging and I was not using it. Before the explosion, I had occasionally noticed overheating issues, but nothing extreme enough to cause alarm.
As a result of the explosion, my personal belongings were damaged, a fire broke out, and I lost all of my data.
I originally purchased the device in 2021 from a local phone shop in Northern Cyprus (KKTC). The warranty has expired, and I no longer remember the store’s name. This is the first time I have ever experienced such a dangerous issue with a phone.
I am requesting an official statement from Poco regarding this incident, including an explanation about the cause, and information on how my data loss and damages will be addressed. I also urge Poco to take immediate safety measures to prevent similar incidents from happening to other users.
