I Face Repeated R2 Spring and Analog Drift Issues on PlayStation 5 DualSense

I purchased the PlayStation 5 console during its initial release and have since used three separate DualSense controllers due to repeated technical issues. Despite careful usage and no user-related damage, I consistently faced the same defects, leading me to believe this is a chronic manufacturing problem rather than an isolated case.

The first controller suffered from an R2 spring malfunction, where the internal spring loosened and eventually broke—especially noticeable in games like FIFA where the trigger adds resistance. Sony replaced this controller under warranty. However, the second replacement controller soon developed the exact same R2 spring issue. I then purchased a third original DualSense controller at my own expense, only to face the same recurring problem.

I worked with Seçkin Elektronik, the authorized service center in Trabzon. Initially, they denied my free replacement request, but after I contacted Sony’s central team, they confirmed the issue and approved the repair. This acknowledgment proves that Sony officially recognizes the R2 spring defect.

Additionally, all three of my DualSense controllers now suffer from severe L3 analog drift. Even without touching the stick, characters move left on their own, completely ruining the gaming experience. None of these controllers have been dropped or mishandled.

I used my PlayStation 4 controller for years without a single issue. The fact that the PS5 DualSense controllers fail repeatedly shows a serious lack of durability and build quality. Countless users on social media and gaming forums report similar complaints, making it clear that this is a widespread quality issue, not an individual fault.

While I reserve my right to take this to the Consumer Arbitration Board, I prefer to resolve this matter through Sony's goodwill and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Therefore, I demand free replacement or permanent repair for my faulty DualSense controllers. I am also willing to send the devices to you for inspection if needed.
