Pizza Hut App Charged Me Without Placing Order

I made a purchase using the Pizza Hut app. Unfortunately, the payment was deducted but the order was not created. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed of an error and assured that a refund would be processed within a timeframe of 3 to 14 days. All my money vanished, leaving me with nothing to eat! I can't believe this. What type of application is this? There are mistakes every single time. That's disappointing. They are literally taking people's money. I've decided to uninstall the app and spread the word to others about not shopping from them.
