I purchased a suit from the Pierre Cardin store in İzmir Selway, and the pants needed alteration. The pants were altered three times, and each time there was a new issue. On the first attempt, neither the waist nor the leg openings were adjusted as requested. On the second attempt, despite clearly instructing Mr. A*** about my height, weight, and the importance of the pants fitting well around the waist and not having baggy legs, the pants came back with the waist still ill-fitting, and the legs were so short that it was laughable for someone 184 cm tall to wear them. I was frustrated, and there was very little room left for further alterations. The third time, I picked up the pants in a rush, hoping they were finally fixed, but when I tried them at home, I found that one leg was shorter than the other, and both legs were still too short.
Imagine buying a brand new, beautiful suit, only to face this ridiculous situation three times when trying to have it altered. The staff's response was dismissive, and when they contacted Mr. A***, he claimed, "I did it just as the gentleman asked," trying to evade responsibility. I didn’t take the measurements, nor did I cut or sew the pants—this was entirely your fault. Not only was I unable to use my suit due to the terrible alterations, but I was also told that nothing could be done because alterations had already been made. This shows a lack of professionalism and no effort to resolve the issue. I am deeply dissatisfied with the behavior of the store staff and the lack of any solution offered. I paid for and chose this suit, so whose fault is it—the person who took the measurements or the one who cut and sewed? This is an internal matter for your team to resolve. I demand that you replace the pants of my suit.
I mentioned that I would be writing this complaint to your management and also sending it to CİMER when I was left with no other options after your refusal to assist me. Please review the CCTV footage of the alteration dates and listen to what was said and what actually happened. Show some integrity and, instead of blaming the customer for your mistakes, replace the botched, short pants of my suit. Thank you.
