Pierre Cardin Suit Exchange Refusal and Rude Staff Complaint
In January 2024, I purchased a suit from the Pierre Cardin store at İskenderun Prime Mall. Despite wearing it only three times, the right pocket area became rough and textured, even though it hadn't been washed or dry cleaned. When I took the pants to the store at the end of March, they told me I needed to bring the jacket as well. Due to my work schedule, I returned with the complete suit in April, and the store accepted it. However, on May 5th, I received a call informing me that no exchange would be made and that I needed to pick up the suit from the store.
When I bought the suit, I specifically asked the salespeople if the fabric would become rough, and they assured me it wouldn’t. Unfortunately, the fabric did become rough, and the hem came undone after just three wears. The quality of the craftsmanship is so poor that even the hem couldn’t withstand minimal use. Despite their enthusiastic sales pitch, the store failed to stand behind their product. The staff's dismissive attitude, telling me to contact customer service as they had already made the sale, was frustrating and disrespectful.
When I reminded the salespeople of their promise to exchange the suit if it became rough, they responded by asking me to lower my voice, claiming there were children around, and ultimately kicked me out of the store. This experience has led me to decide never to buy anything from this store or Pierre Cardin again. It's disheartening, especially since we bought two suits. We were valued customers at the time of purchase, but now, with a problem, we are treated poorly.
