PicsArt Billing Complaint After Trial Download
On the evening of January 6, my 9-year-old nephew downloaded the PicsArt app onto my iPhone 11 as a free trial without my knowledge or permission. Even before the trial period had ended, $29 USD was charged to my account. No transactions or usage occurred within the app.
After discovering the charge, I contacted Apple Support multiple times to request a refund. Three separate appeals were opened. Apple Support representatives stated that there was no valid reason to deny the refund and that it should be possible to process it. Despite this, the $29 USD deducted from my account has still not been refunded, and my appeals continue to be denied.
I have been financially harmed due to this unauthorized and unintentional transaction. I request that the unjust charge made through the PicsArt app be refunded to my account as soon as possible. Otherwise, I will be forced to pursue legal action.
